Pauline’s Toblerone muffins

We love our colleagues for all sorts of reasons. We all love Pauline because she’s always in a good mood, open to others, ready to help us at the photocopier or track down a document for us… But we also love Pauline a great deal because she makes us muffins, and Pauline’s muffins are seriously good.
We don’t work together any more, but I hope she’ll still make us some for her birthday on 21 January.

Pauline’s Toblerone muffins

Preparation

I'd be tempted to try...

a shorter bake, 6 minutes for example. You’d have to eat them the next day, as they won’t come out of the tin the same day!

swapping the proportions for the chocolate (200 g) and the butter (80 g)

If anyone tries it, do post a comment ^^.

  1. Step 1

In a bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar, then work in the flour.

Melt the Toblerone, the chocolate and the butter.

Add the melted chocolate and the butter to the previous mixture.

Mix well and pour into muffin cups or individual moulds.

Preheat the oven to 200°C and bake for 10 minutes.

Thank you Pauline for this lovely recipe, borrowed from Cyril Lignac, that delights us every time!

We’ll be expecting you on the 21st ^^.
