Chocolate and pear loaf cake

Nothing left for breakfast tomorrow and a lovely ripe pear that hasn’t been eaten. Let’s make a loaf cake. In ten minutes it’ll be in the oven, and in half an hour you’ll already smell a sweet scent through the house.

Preparation

  1. Step 1

    Preheat the oven to 180 °C.

    Beat the eggs with the sugar and the butter.

    Add all at once the flour sifted with the baking powder.

    Dice a large pear and mix it into the batter.

    Add the chocolate chips.

    Pour the batter into a silicone mould or a buttered tin.

    Bake for 45 minutes.

    Check it’s done by pushing a knife blade into the thickest part. If it comes out clean, your cake is done.
