Orange flan
For orange lovers, an orange flan. It makes a change from caramel and vanilla.

Preparation
-
Step 1
Make the caramel: heat 100 g of sugar in a heavy-based pan.
When the sugar turns to caramel, stir the mixture with a wooden spoon and coat the bottom of the dish with it.
-
Step 2
Beat the eggs, the condensed milk, 100 g of sugar and the orange juice. To get 350 g of orange juice, I squeezed 4 oranges of about 250 g each.
Pour this mixture into the mould.
-
Step 3
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Boil water in a pan and pour it into a large dish.
Sit the mould in it and bake for an hour.
To tell if the flan is cooked, stick a knife blade into it. If it comes out dry, it’s done.
-
Step 4
Let it cool and store it in the fridge for several hours. Eat it promptly afterwards.
Serve with orange segments.
