    Heat the butter in a saucepan until it turns a lovely golden-brown (beurre noisette).

    Pour the batter into the moulds and bake for 18 to 20 minutes (longer if the moulds are bigger). A knife blade stuck into the batter should come out dry and the financiers should be lightly golden.
