  1. Step 1

    Wash the orange and take off its zest.

    Chop it finely (if you have a coffee grinder or a grater, get one of them out)

    In a mixing bowl, combine the sifted flour with the baking powder, the sugar, the zest, the eggs and the melted butter.

  3. Step 3

    Preheat the oven to 180°.

    Pour the mixture into a buttered tin and bake for 30 minutes (check it’s done with a knife blade, which should come out dry; if not, carry on baking for another 5 minutes).

    When it comes out, soak the cake with the orange juice and let it cool.

    Melt the chocolate for 4 minutes in the microwave. Cover the cake with it.

    Set your chocolate figures on top, along with your little Easter eggs.
