the wine to go with it!!
A Côtes de Duras, the Terre Blanche from Bertins for us.
Right, Marie, either I have to stop posting pork recipes, or you have to find some other postcards — or I’ll launch an appeal among kilomètre-0 readers!
I must cook more pork than I let on, unless it’s the season that calls for this relentlessness on the poor beast ^^.

A Côtes de Duras, the Terre Blanche from Bertins for us.
Brown the pork shoulder, cut into pieces, in a little fat with the sliced onions.
For the onions, remove the germ (the green bit in the centre), which isn’t very digestible.
While you brown the meat, squeeze the oranges and mix their juice with the spices.
Peel, wash and cut the carrots into rounds.
Add the carrots and mix everything together.
Pour in the spices and the orange juice, cover and cook over a low heat for an hour and a quarter.
Serve with a nice seasonal salad.
