Black pudding with apples
For those who are short on iron, here’s a dish especially for you. Apparently apples help fix the iron from the black pudding.
For this minimalist dish, pick a very good black pudding (with chunks in it) and a good variety of apple (Jonagored, in my case).

Preparation

Step 1
Peel the apples and cut them into thin slices.
With a steam oven, put the apples in a perforated dish, the black puddings in another and cook everything for 10 minutes at 100°C.
Otherwise, pan-fry the apples with a little fat, or sweat them down with a small glass of water. Let them cook for 10 to 15 minutes.
Prick the black puddings and cook them in a frying pan with a little fat.
Serve with a green salad.
