Here are some ideas for your Christmas menus. Most of the recipes are very easy to make. You’ll find ideas for the Christmas *apéro* (those pre-dinner drinks and nibbles), for your starters, your Christmas main and, of course, your desserts. Among them, foolproof *bûches* (the traditional Yule log cake) and frozen treats (semifreddo, parfait glacé…). You’ll also find ideas for a big Christmas *apéro* or a drinks-and-nibbles spread if you’d rather not fuss, or for a buffet.
I cook with seasonal produce, so you won’t find tomatoes in this section unless they’ve been turned into a coulis or a paste — but there’s plenty of seasonal produce that’s perfect for waiting up for Father Christmas, or welcoming him in.
