Tomato, ricotta and herb lasagne

A recipe from the book Nature by Alain Ducasse (a little reworked… inevitable… I have an independent streak, like the Shadoks, those absurd little French cartoon creatures ^^).

Very good and packed with vitamins, with this concentrate of fresh herbs

Tomato, ricotta and herb lasagne

Preparation

  1. Step 1

    Wash and blitz the fresh herbs. Mix them with the ricotta.

    In a large gratin dish, lay a thin layer of coulis, a layer of (uncooked) lasagne sheets and a thin layer of the ricotta/herb mixture, a layer of tomato coulis.

  3. Step 3

    Carry on with a layer of lasagne, a layer of coulis and a layer of ricotta/herb… until the ingredients are used up. You should finish with the lasagne and the coulis. Sprinkle with parmesan and bake for 30 minutes at 180°C (check the cooking time on the lasagne packet).

    Serve with a green salad and a good Italian wine.
