Lettuce soup

The growers have lots of lettuces right now. Make the most of it for a soup. Its mildness might be appreciated by children. I say “might” because I know the resistance can be strong sometimes ^^.

Preparation

  1. Step 1

    Peel a big potato, wash it and cut it into big rounds.

    Wash and cut a big leek into small sections.

    Bring 75 cl of water to the boil with a little salt and the potato rounds.

    At boiling point, add the leek sections and cook for 10 minutes.

    Wash the lettuce and add its leaves for another ten minutes.

    Blitz the soup and add salt, or water, if needed.
